DESERT FOR ME:.........................Desert in my life is dryness, lack of basic necessities, thirst for these;/// it gives me the mindset to focus on these /// the desert and its realities/// thus will be challenges for me/// to look for those realities which will make me live in the desert with strength/// with a focus to live and achieve the desire to continue living and living it to the full///patience, sacrifice, endurance, single heartedness, dependence on the LORD and on my co-traveler/// etc.. ... ...what is LIFE if it IS NO MORE? The desert is therefore the reality which will purify my INTENTIONS AND FOCUS IN LIFE and NOT waste my time and energies chasing after butterflies, the wind, the clouds (these are the pleasures of this world, the love for material things without reference to God and His laws, frivolous and useless socializing, etc.) and come up tired and spent without achieving what is REALLY IMPORTANT …LIFE in GOD in HARMONY AND UNION … to LIVE in NEED of the MOST BASIC REALITIES and HELP ME GET TO THEM (GOD AND HIS KINGDOM!). In my LIFE as Gods creature and son/daughter, all the realities of this world that blocks me to see the most important REALITIES of my life makes me dry, thirsty, desirous and lacking/wanting are the deserts. At the same time taken in the perspective or point of view of prayer and reflection and DEPENDENCE ON THE LORD ADONAI-ELOHIM for LIGHT AND STRENGTH from HIS HOLY SPIRIT and looking at those realities more than blocks but CHALLENGES, then those deserts will MAKE ME STRONG AND FOCUSED TO ACHIEVE LIFE, and LIFE TO THE FULL....PEACE, TRANQUILITY, UNION WITH GOD AND WITH MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN MUTUAL LOVE AND SHARING..., The desert for me is therefore a preparation for the RULE of GOD, his VERY INDWELLING in MY HEART who requires that I be FOCUSED, THAT my HEART IS DEVOID or EMPTY OF FALSE GODS or IDOLS that take ME away from HIM.
