Professor-cum-Jr. Scientist for PG Departments of BAU Sabour 2013: Applications are invited for the posts of PG Departments of BAU Sabour as detailed below on the prescribed form alongwith non-refundable, A/C Payee Demand Draft Payable at State Bank of India, Sabour Branch (Code no. 11805) for Rs. 450.00 (Rupees Four Hundred Fifty) only for General/BC/EBC/RCF candidates and Rs. 150.00 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only for SC/ST candidates of Bihar drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur). The application along with all relevant documents should reach the Officer-In-Charge(Recruitment), Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour-813210 (Bhagalpur) on or before 17.10.2013 up to 05:00 P.M. only through registered post/speed post/courier post. Details of the post are as follows:- 1. Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist(Agriculture Faculty for P.G. Department) Pay Scale–Rs. 15,600-39,100+AGP 6,000 A. 5% of the Vacancy position of the Assistant Professor-cum- Junior Scientist in the faculty shall be filled up from Agriculture Inspector/STA/JTA & equivalent in the BAU, Sabour Vacancy- 06 posts (03-UR, 01-EBC, 01-SC, 01-BC) B. Current Vacancy-106 posts ( 53-UR, 19-EBC, 17-SC, 13-BC, 03-RCF, 01-ST) Essential Qualification: -(i) Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O , A, B,C, D, E&F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Candidates must have respective basic professional degree at undergraduate level. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks, at the master’s level for the SC/ST category. However, they have to submit the required fee in the form of demand draft as mentioned above before the commencement of the interview. How to Apply: Candidates have to apply separate application form for different type of vacancies (5%/Current) with separate application fees. In-service candidates should submit their applications through proper channel. However, they must submit an advance copy with requisite fee within stipulated time.
