DID HYPA DISS TAY GRIN SOMETIME BACK? I was trying to listen to some tracks from the past 4 years. You see, Ive mostly been busy with underground so I noticed that Ive missed out on most of the commercial hip hop tracks from the past 3 or 4 yrs. Ive been listening to some but not seriously. One of the songs I decided to listen to was Ndikadzalemera. When I was carefully analysing the verses, I noted that there were certain bars Id been hearing all along but been taking for granted. If am not wrong, Hypa at some point rapped Ndizagula chi Bhima (BMW) cha afana aja Tay Grin// Nzangompatsa ma verse ndikumpatsa ten pin...and I was like wutta hell? Lyk seriously? So Hypa said that he would write verses for Tay Grin and give him 10 thousand bucks exchange for his car? To me that sounded like biff! Clearly Hypa underrates Tay Grin! He protrayed Tay as someone who isnt that good at verses, ofunika kulemberedwa, while Hypa himself a writer of pricey verses! See, I dont know if you guys have ever taken some time to analyse this, but definetely to me this sounded like Hypa was calling for Tays attention. He was clearly trying to draw a battle line! Tay kungompezera cos fans diss him that he has cheddar but is lyrically wack. I dont think Hypa cant rap about writing a verse for Third eye and other beasts. Kufuna kudyedwa, chani? Dont know how that sounds to you, but its beef to me. Anyway, zisandikhudze. #Lil_Flame.
