DID YOU KNOW PAINTER VINCENT VAN GOGH HAD AN OBSESSION WITH SUNFLOWERS? Well so do we in the Irish Hospice Foundation! Friday and Saturday, June 6th and 7th, are Hospice Sunflower Days and volunteers from all over Ireland will be out in force selling gorgeous Sunflowers, Sunflower seeds and pins for €2 euro each. Every cent raised locally will stay locally to support your hospice service. Struck by many dark obsessions caused by depression, yellow illuminated van Gogh’s days and he was drawn to the colour to find the light to draw him back from his dark moments.
