DID YOU KNOW We are expected not to vote, that includes Aboriginal peoples, the homeless, low income and single mothers. Today Ill be visiting Main Street avenue to let many of our homeless people living in the hotels and shelters know they can vote. Interesting what I have learned so far through this campaign. YOU DONT NEED I.D TO VOTE. and YOU DONT NEED A FIXED ADDRESS TO VOTE. Under the city voting by-laws a person wanting to vote can request to take an oath to vote. What this means is that you still have to identify your primary place of residence over the last 6 months. If someone is coach surfing but mainly stays in one particular place they can request to vote as a resident in that area of the city at any advance voting station.
