DID YOU KNOW.... When most people think of vanished empires, their thoughts go right to the Romans. And while perhaps the civilizations of the Romans, the Persians, the Aztecs, etc and their hundreds of years of known-world dominance deserve a good measure of respect, there is a plural other modern day mighty empires that also merit their place in history and achievement. Below is a list of many empires from within the International Court System that go by day after day all but forgotten by many with exception of a handful of court historians. Even though these chapters of history are dormant today in their own time they were often the most immensely popularity organizations in their community, lead by legendary monarchs and steeped with noble deeds of service. History asks How did things get to be this way? There are few thing that become more intriguing and far more mysterious than learning to recognize and understand the series of events, causes and people that lead to the creation of the International Court System and its empires. At the same time, history also recognizes that there is far more to the past than the events that created the Court System we know today. Recognizing what we share with people in the past, while simultaneously exploring how profoundly their experiences differed from our own, provides some of the International Court System most fascinating insights into our history. I invite everyone to be a part of the ICS Golden Jubilee next October 2015 in Portland, Oregon. It will be evening that celebrates in the form of narratives...all of these dormant yet distinguished empires stories ...helping bring their past come alive again...to be recognized and included again...as few things or moments can. Our value and importance of noble deeds whether our court is dormant or active today in communities all across Canada, the United States and Mexico is beyond measure. Please help us to remember these dormant yet distinguished empires of the International Court System and be part of history by going online to learn more and take part in the ICS Golden Jubilee History Project by completing a historical survey.
