Owned by Bobby Sherman, they rented this Boeing 720 for a mere $30,000 for their 74-75 tour, and called it Starship. It had a 40-foot sofa and bar, organ, fireplace, TV, cassette stereo, and a round bed. Other bands went on to use it, and each time it was repainted - Rolling Stones, Elton John, Alice Cooper, and Peter Frampton...only to be retired in 1982 due to failing engines. Rock-n-Roll Heaven.
