DID YOU KNOW as we sail through life toward heaven there are four things we should not do. These four things are found in Acts 27:12-14 when the sailors didnt listen to the Word of the Lord through Paul. At first the wind will blow softly but when the storms come the winds will blow you away. 1) Dont be impatient - Slow down, especially when youre not sure what to do. The best thing to do when we dont know exactly what to do is dont do anything. Just stay where you are until God directs. 2) Dont take a vote - God is not an American and when we make a decision on a democratic basis were headed for trouble. We need to know the heart of God not what the majority says. 3) Dont test the winds - The answer is not blowing in the wind. We cannot let the way the wind and circumstances are blowing determine our course. 4) Dont seek ease - Most seek what is the most comfortable, easiest place to be. But we must desire what the Lord knows will be best for us. So what will move you along today, Gods Word or satans winds?
