DID YOU KNOW that regardless of what you might hear from the news or the government, that we are experiencing some pretty serious inflation with regards to Food and Fuel Costs? I KNOW all of you have noticed the price at the gas stations, and I KNOW that those of you who go to the grocery store have noticed the increase in prices OR the reduction of portions/weights. Dont mean to be depressing, but just want to let you know an unvarnished truth about where food prices are going. Since the 1st of this year (2014), our WHOLESALE prices for the following have INCREASED: Mozzarella Cheese (31%), Flour (28%), Beef Brisket (20%), Pepperoni (14%), Salami (7%), Provolone Cheese (51%), Philly Steak Sirloin (8%), Salad Dressings (11%), Italian Pizza Sausage (6%), Ham (11%), Turkey (5%), Chicken Breast (15%), etc., etc., ad nauseum...and thats just some of them! NOW imagine that all of the paper/packaging/cleaning prices are going up at the same time! I JUST WANT TO ASK AN HONEST QUESTION. If YOU were a Business Owner, what would YOU do? If youre a Customer of ours, could you understand that something would have to give with regards to pricing? If so, then what would you be willing to see an increase in? Please feel free to comment...we REALLY want to know your thoughts on either side. Weve got a couple a scenarios that were getting ready to institute, and when (not really if, (on one of them)) we do, well be glad to explain them, BUT we REALLY need YOUR input before we lock them in place.
