DINGNGHETA STARS FOR LUANGMUAL FC Michael Lalremtluanga 2 April, 2014. Mahindra 2 Wheelers Mizoram Premier League has been exciting this season as Luangmual FC won their first match in Phase 2 as they attempt to play the final. It was a Wednesday night match when the unbeaten in Phase 2 Luangmual FC took on the in-form Reitlang FC. Luangmual FC came on top with a 3-1win. Luangmual FC R. Lalthantluanga (Mama) scored the first goal at 4 minutes but it was equalized by T. Lalthantluanga (Ttwo-a) in the first half. Laldingngheta scored a brace in the second half for Luangmual FC to put his side in the second position on the league table. The Players: Luangmual FC were happy to welcome back Lalnunpuia, Lalramchhulova and MC Malsawmzuala from suspension as all of them were included in the starting eleven. Midfielder R. Lalthantluanga and keeper Isak Lalmuanpuia were also restored in the starting eleven after missing out on their previous match against Chanmari FC. Luangmual FC left out their top scorer with 4 goals in the league PC Zosangliana as they used the unfamiliar 4-3-3 formation and captain Reuben Zosangpuia played the main role in midfield. Reitlang FC made one change from their win against FC Kulikawn as John Malsawmtluanga was replaced by Jessie Lalrinpuia. Man of the match against FC Kulikawn MC Lalneihsanga stayed in goal while Ricky Hlychho and Malsawmzuala stood in the centre of defence. Patrick Arol Enondji and Lalnunzira were employed to help out their cause in defence as well as attack and captain Chhanrinpianga and Cho Isering Lepcha led the forward line. Luangmual FC dominated right from the start and eventually took the lead at 4 minutes when a searching ball from the halfway line by Chullova was met by MC-as head to set up Mama to score a wonderful header. These three players did not get to start against Chanmari FC in their last match! Reitlang FC were determined not to lose the match and their defence became more solid after conceding the early goal. Luangmual FC dominated the game but failed to make any good chances. Reitlang FC wing back Ttwo-a managed to take care of Dingngheta and the star winger did not have the best of time in the first half. There was no improvement in the attacking area for Reitlang FC in this match but Reitlang FC were given a freekick just outside the penalty area when Chullova handled the ball. The made the best use of this opportunity when Valrina laid off the ball to the unmarked Zirtea whose shot on goal was cleared off the line by Lalrinzuala but the clearance bounced off against Ttwo-a and into the goal. This 36 minute equalizer was first given to Cho for a goal but the TV replay showed it was Ttwo-a who got the final touch. It was 1-1 at half time. Luangmual FC continued to dominate the game in the second half and MC-a missed a very good chance to take the lead. Reitlang FC Could not keep the ball giving Luangmual FC the license to attack more Captain Reubens freekick was flicked on into the back of the net by Mama and the goal was received well by the supporters too but it was all too short lived as it was ruled out for offside. Dingngheta was not to be stopped for 90 minutes as he was eager to show how special a player he is and the winger scored one from inside the box at 74 minutes to give a well deserved goal for Luangmual FC. Reitlang FC gave their all to score the equalizer and H. Lalzawmliana was replaced by 50-year old Philippe de Ridder but Luangmual FC players were too quick. Reitlang FC hardly tested Luangmual FC keeper Isak-a thanks to the solid display by the Luangmual FC defenders. Dingngheta scored a superd solo goal at 87 minutes as he driblled his way from the halfway line leaving Reitlang FC players dumbfounded. It was 3-1 after 90 minutes and a win for Luangmual FC and their captain Reuben was the man of the match. Match Facts Luangmual FC 3-1 Reitlang FC LFC : R.
