Archbishop of Lipa Chancery Office & Archbishop Palace Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines Dear Excellencies, This important pastoral care using the DIOCESE OF BALAYAN and having the identity of DOCTOR OF DIVINITY being the chosen witnessed of our Lord JESUS RESURRECTION inside the EUCHARIST at Poiano, Verona, Italy year 1991-1992 is first to extend my congratulations for the INSTALLATION of new BISHOP OF IMUS which is also a former RECTOR OF ST. FRANCIS DE SALES MINOR & MAJOR SEMINARY in our Archdiocese of Lipa REV. MSGR. EVANGELISTA, D.D., if we are deepening his SERVICE to the CHURCH having the COLLEGIAL CHARACTER in the Apostolic Line with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. It means being HUMBLE SERVANTS on this Year 2013 for three (3) years preparations before Year 2013 it is important on this YEAR OF FAITH that since HISTORY OF BALAYAN cannot changed its important events about the FAITH OF BALAYENOS and the Province of Batangas it is actually a three (3) years study and research of the authorities concerned especially our Local Government Units of the entire Province being BATANGUENO of how it is possible to become BALAYAN A DIOCESE. Inspite that today after the celebrations of the feast of the Sacred Heart of JESUS & Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Twin Hearts) we are to be informed that the three (3) events as we are now celebrating today the nine (9) days novena mass the feast of St. John the Baptist and the feast of our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) in our Municipality of Balayan including the arrival yesterday of the 2nd Filipino Saint PEDRO CALUNSOD which he will stay until tomorrow as his departure will be at about 7:00 a.am, (Thursday) it is important to asked ourselves why there are SAINTS in the HISTORY of our UNIVERSAL CATHOLIC CHURCH? We all know as far as VATICAN CITY IN ROME at ST. PETER BASICILA that we are strict to follow the due process before the Beatification and Canonization by the POPE to become a SAINT. But we are witnesses of the event as we are blessed to have with us today and to let us WELCOME the arrival of ST. PEDRO CALUNSOD who is now in our PARISH OF BALAYAN. But lesson in all of these being HUMBLE SERVANTS is about the life and examples of our SAINTS especially PEDRO CALUNSOD regarding his CATHOLIC FAITH that si what we need to exercised daily by the grace of GOD. Why? For our FAITH is a supernatural gift of God. In order to believe, man needs the interior helps of the HOLY SPIRIT. But it is not difficult to become a SAINT for all of us are called to HOLINESS (Matthew 5:48) as pastoral care. Let us PRAY and expressed our gratitude on this three (3) important events as we are having the LOCAL & FOREIGN VISITORS in BALAYAN on this 24 day of June 2013 with the PARADA NG LECHON SA BALAYAN SA PROBINSIYA NG BATANGAS as one of the Tourist Destinations in the Philippines and as far as HISTORY OF BALAYAN is concerned.
