Note :- a) Formula for calculation of merit point i) Marks obtained in theory x 80 Total marks in theory ii) Marks obtained in teaching practice x 20 Total marks in teaching practice For Example : Total marks in theory = 700, Marks obtained in theory =350 i. 350 x 80 = 40.00 700 Plus Total marks in T.P. =300, marks obtained in T.P. = 210 ii. 210 x 20 = 14.00 300 Therefore, Total merit points = 54.00
