They have been shown to increase risk for breast cancer." - Breast Cancer Fund ... some also occur with petrolatum - so there is a second chance of exposure to PAHs - coal tar (dirty dozen day 1) and petrolatum (dirty dozen day 9). A third exposure route would be candles made of paraffin, a petroleum product.
