DISAPPOINTMENT......Im not the first nor will i be the last to be disappointed in the way those we elect and send to Frankfort play politics. The fire service had a FIREFIGHTER CANCER BILL, HB 251 ...costs covered through good budget management by the Ky Fire Commission....nothing asked for from general budget! My message from friends there today was.... David Unfortunately, we were notified that House leadership refused to put it to a vote( which. Would have passed. Even though there was not a budget increase they wanted that money at their disposal. Its a shame that those that call themselves out friends, continue to turn their backs on us. Still time left to pull this out....April 14....but i wont be holding my breath!. More disappointed in politics than i am in having cancer!
