DISCLAIMER: This post will be sentimental and long-winded. This is a few days early, but I feel compelled to post it now. On the 12th of this month, my little sister will be turning the big 25. It’s hard to imagine just what the past quarter of a century would have been without my dear, crazy sister there by my side to navigate this roller coaster ride with me. From water fights and crying at the end of ‘It’s a wonderful life’, to late-night drinking sessions and a thousand wayward adventures, you have given me a lifetime of material. It is your outspoken voice which has helped me to stand tall, your free spirit which has taught me to look over the ledge and your humor which has taught me to laugh at myself in times of doubt. I am a better person because of you, and one day I might even manage to get your Birthday card in the mail on time.
