[DIV38] Pediatric Psychologist position in integrated primary care setting-Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Pediatrics is currently recruiting for a licensed Pediatric Psychologist to join its team at our Gresham location in the greater metro area of beautiful Portland, Oregon. Our practice is comprised of 29 pediatricians at four clinic locations throughout the Portland area. We love taking care of kids and supporting their families, and we are always striving for extraordinary service and quality in our care. Our team-oriented philosophy contributes to a great work environment. We aim for respect and compassion in our patient care, and in our interactions with each other. The Pediatric Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments to evaluate the problem/question and select/administer behavioral health integration tools appropriate for the patient. Based on the assessment, the Pediatric Psychologist is also responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans within primary care for ages from birth through adolescence. The Psychologist role within the primary care clinic is clearly distinguished from the therapist/patient individual practice model of behavioral medicine. The position is full-time (5 days a week). We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, willingness to work collaboratively with the site team and other departments, and supportive of continuous quality improvement in the practice.
