Seemingly down and out at 8/132 chasing 220, JP, Michael Gnaden and Dave put on the last runs required to snatch a memorable victory. However, the boys will not be able to rely on last weeks heroics and that will be pushed to the side come Saturday 1.00pm. The strength of the div 5 side all season has been that everyone contributes, so it will be interesting to see who steps up this week. With quality in batting, bowling and fielding, the boys will be quietly confident that this is their year after an agonising loss in the div 6 grand final last season. However, they wont be underestimating the Panthers, who beat top side last week Iona at Marist- a fantastic achievement against a very strong Iona side. This looks to be a cracking grand final that I predict will be very close (hopefully not as close as last week boys!)
