Calling all my former Dual Language students: I NEED YOU! This is your former teacher Mrs. Bligen - (PreK teacher & K teacher - Dual Language Program 1993 - 2000, in Englewood, NJ. I know my former students and parents dont need a reminder of who I am - because we know each other like that - but just to let other folks know who I am). :-) We made history in the Dual Language Program, because we were the very first dual language program in the State of New Jersey. It was a very rewarding and interesting experience for me; and I am interested in documenting the experience from the stories of the students who went through the program. I am moving along in my doctoral program, and I am almost ready to begin my dissertation. I am really interested in doing a research study with my former dual language students, who were dominant in English at the start of the program. In this project I would conduct interviews, with a discussion and questions about your experiences during and after your dual language experiences.
