DNA from snow, via Wildlife Biologists, This appears to have been successful. I would like to try this with grizzly bears in Montana. I can see it being a successful technique to identify individual bears instead of having to collect a hair, blood, or scat sample. It would also help us determine the identity of bears that are involved in conflict situations when they arent captured. Another tool in the DNA toolbox.
