DNM is not and never will be a trademarked modality nor will anyone ever be able to claim it as a proprietary term. Its an explanatory model, not a particular set of moves. If you divorce, they get everything. Its just not right to trademark a way of treating people or a set of ideas related to treating people. It never has been. It never will be. Its a scourge in manual therapy that arose from, and is perpetuated by, ignorance and greed. It can be combatted by reading and learning and developing your own talents in stress reduction through touch.
