Lessons/Realizations Learned from Laryngitis (going on day 3): 1. I talk a lot. 2. I am asked an insurmountable amount of questions every day that cannot be answered with a head nod. 3. I cannot effectively communicate with my kids in the car without verbal interaction. They have not mastered reading my lips in the rear view mirror. 4. I really dont need to always interject my opinion. Some of these sibling arguments are working themselves out just fine. :) 5. I need to be a better listener with the intent to just listen. 6. I need to sing in the car. 7. Starbucks drive-thru isnt working out. 8. Im super grateful for texting, but I didnt realize that until I answered my phone the first time.
