DO NOT!! I repeat DO NOT!! Give ANY of your animals to Rethea Baker Kraiss or Paul Kraiss from Greencastle PA!! I homed a 10 month old Black Lab/Keeshond mix to them December 30th,2014... He was a happy and healthy puppy that wouldnt hurt a fly! He needed obedience training for his hyperness but it was something I was working with him on an he was doing GREAT! A few days go by and I asked them how he was... They said he was fine! Just getting use to their female... Then a few days later, I get a message saying that he bit their son... something I know he never would have done unless there was a reason... I couldnt get my landlords permission to take him back so I was helping try to find him a new home... then I got blocked and heard from family and friends that they were selling him for $150... then the post disappeared... I decided to text the number I was given and told them how wrong it was of them to sell him after I gave him to them! I got cussed up and down! then nothing! finally found a picture Rethea posted of him in a create... it looked nothing like the Bear that left my house... He looked scared and skinny... My husband said to just bring him home! So I texted again asking for them to bring him back home (not caring about the consequences at this time!)... No answer... Waited until today... finally got an answer that he was gone... Heartbroken, I started calling the humane societies in Waynesboro, greencastle and Hagerstown... nothing... thats when I got 3 tags from friends on another post where the lady who had taken him 2 days ago was needing a new home for him because her son was allergic!! She didnt hesitate to give him back to me (Note for any bashers, this lady is genuine and amazing! none of this is her fault!)... well by the time my parents got him to me, I could see he was bad! Hes more then 10lbs underweight and has ulcers in his upper lip like he had been in a fight with another dog or had the crud beat out of him (which judging by the picture of him in the cage, I dont doubt that...) Then something happened that has me floored... He snapped at us... not once.. not twice... but THREE TIMES! in a 10 minute period! something he NEVER NEVER NEVER did before!!!! I can only imagine the H*LL my boy went through and I vow it will never happen again! Please spread the word so no one elses pet has to go through this! I thought I was giving him a better life because while, yes, we have a yard... its not really that big and he needs to RUN and he was also tormenting my cats which I see now, wasnt as big of a deal as I had thought in the beginning... I failed him.. Ill admit that 1000x over... I failed him... But I refuse to fail him again!! Attached are pictures of when he was with us in the beginning... and pictures of when he came home...
