DO TO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT DONE TO YOU... It seems simple. If you wnted somehing that bothers NO ONE anymore than a cat or dog, would you want me to turn it into a big issue? If you got some cats, or dogs and I didn’t like them, would I report every bark or every time they came on my property? I’d be spending all day on the phone. If they aren’t causing a rucuss after 8pm or before 8pm I personaly could care less. I’m a good neighbor when other peoples animals come to my yard I walk the dogs back to their property line and my dogs chase the cats away…. If you decided to have a turtle which carries salmonella and a myriad of other issues, and doesn’t provide any benefits…. Is it my business to bother you about it? If you have Cockatoos or parakeets which hav the same possible health issues as chicken, If your kids want pet rats or mice should I throw a fit because they could get out and breed? If you own property and you fence, cage, contain, coop etc your pets and you aren’t creating a noise or odor nuisance…Why would I put energy into micromanaging what you do with your property? I have no place complaining about you. If I had a concern I promise you I would always talk to you before I ever called anyone else into things. If you see us trying to secure a 4 acre piece of land that hasn’t been pruned for 2 seasons before we bought it and restore a beloved home with mildew in the carpets and water damage being repaired, which leads to construction piles building up until there is enough to get a dumpster deep… Why not stop by and introduce yourselves, ask us what we are doing? You obviously know we have a HUGE project. If you want to see it done faster please feel welcome to be neighborly and help. Whether you are Christian’s or not, the golden rule is good for everyone. DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU’D HAVE DONE TO YOU…. You don’t get to choose your neighbors but we can decide what our relationship will be.
