DO YOU REALLY WANT MONEY ? (or something else?) PART 2 I was talking about the above topic yesterday about how most people go after money out of FEAR instead of FAITH and having a MISSION when acquiring money. And these are the top 5 observations: They are running from FEAR of: 1. Not having enough to eat or survive 2. Not being able to feed the family 3. Not being able to make a living 4. Not being able to enter into a higher level of people or upper class. 5. Not being able to impress the guy or girl or certain friends If you want to read the entire post, you can check it out on my blog at: jevince/do-you-really-want-money-or-something-else-part-1/ So continuing on, we should be acquiring MONEY not out of FEAR because it makes is POWERLESS, rather than go for MONEY, out of FAITH and as a MAN ON A MISSION. In case you are wondering when and where do I get inspiration to write all these posts, it is after my morning Christian prayer and devotion, and then during my morning workout at home. Speaking of that, I may just write a series on BUSINESS LESSONS I LEARNT WHILE WORKING OUT in the next series. Anyhow, back to acquiring money through FAITH and having a MISSION. You see, when we have FAITH, we will market and sell differently. When we have FAITH, we will also go for long term rather than short term. When we have FAITH, we trust that God will reward our HARD work and SMART work. And how do you differentiate HARD work versus SMART work? You can only do that, if you are IN what you do deep enough and long enough to have wisdom of that industry( rather than just chasing after the MONEY and get out when the excitement is gone or give up too early). Coupling FAITH with having MISSION will spur you to a position of POWER and INFLUENCE. When you have FAITH and go for long term, and know God is behind you in everything that you do, and know your MISSION is in line with Gods reason for creating YOU, then you are a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. Example: If you found out that GOD wanted you to save the orphans in a geographical location, lets say, District X, and that is your ultimate MISSION for you in your brief 80-100 years of life on Earth, you may be building a business that is centered upon children, and donating 10% of your profits to fulfil that particular MISSION. The funny but yet rewarding thing when you have structured your BUSINESS around a MISSION, is that people will respect you, more willing to part their money to fulfil your MISSION, and then see you as a LEADER, rather than someone who pitches and tries to SELL/SPAM. After all is said here, then you probably have 2 questions in mind to complete the entire process, and that is: 1. How do you have FAITH then? 2. How do you find your MISSION then?
