DONE!!!! 96 LEDs arranged along the wells of a 96 well plate holder and activated in sequence using an infrared movement sensor. I even built a temporary housing for it using cardboard. Now that I have also figured out the basic C++ programming to activate/deactivate the Charlieplexed LEDs in sequence I will write a couple of sketches for my favourite experimental setups. No more getting confused when loading 96 well PCR plates in the lab ;D I shall call it the ILLUMINATOR ;D If this works well in the lab Ill design a plastic housing for it and have it printed using a 3D printer ;D
