DONE! Officially 12 months 100% sober in every ways today! (Not even a drop) Needing a break from the non stop social binge drinking that had bekome My Life every single weekend, I decided to stop. It started as a 6 months goal which soon turned to 12 months, as I went searching to rediskover the natural love for Life, which I used to so zealously possess as a child, unassisted in any ways by any manufaktured substances. Sure I was smiling in photos dis dat but I wanted to smile on a deeper level without a bottle as My krutch & be able to remember those moments the next day & beyond! The difference to anybody Id previously heard of quitting drinking before, is that I didnt want to stop partying, I didnt want to give up My Friends & I wanted to kontinue the same social Life. Daunting at first, I started with house parties then klubbing, as I held My spirit glass of water + ice kubes with a lime slice to avoid being questioned & soon enough was doing Fistpumps of My Life at Raves, Wanderers games & Festivals.. all 100% sober. This experience has taught Me a lot & given Me heaps of positives way beyond My expektations. Most of all Ive fallen deeper in Love with Life than ever before! The highs Ive naturally achieved have been phenomenal & lasting! There are times I miss getting on the piss with My Mates & all that komes with it but waking up fresh as daisy styles at the krak of dawn the next morning & making the most of the entire next beautiful day, helps keep Me fokussed. Each to their own & fully respekt for all choices but I just needed this for Me for now. Ill never say never & may drink again 1 day but for now for Me there is too much Life to be experienced & Loved, chasing My natural highs! But Defqons? Sober. Armin Only? Sober. Stereos? Sober. Wanderers? Sober. Tans? Sober. Fistpumps? Sober. All sober in every ways & had the times of My Life! See Yous on the dance floors! #LoveLife #hektikstyles
