DONT FORGET WATCH THIS TOMORROW NIGHT 9PM BBC2 FILM about circus clown and Stoke City kit man Neil ‘Nello’ Baldwin is set to be shown on TV this week. Marvellous, starring Toby Jones, tells the story of the extraordinary life of one of North Staffordshire’s most colourful figures. The 90-minute film tells of Neil’s life at Keele University, in the circus as “Nello” the clown and as kitman at Stoke City in the 1990s. Locations featured include Crewe Alexandra’s ground, which doubled up as Stoke City’s former home.
