His medical shoed him to be in good health when he got there, And then his behavioral eval—he tried to stay as close as he could to the assessor, got real scared when they started “playing tag” and when that big plastic hand tried to take his food, all he did was gulp the food down as fast as he could. And dog on dog—he was just fine. Tonight, Rexy needs that one person who would love to have a dog that ACC staff first described as “very sweet and friendly, he really seem to like attention and loves to crawl on the floor. “ He’s full of life, a bit scared that his people never came for him, but young enough to go off to live the kind of life he deserves. If you’re ready for years of having a handsome bff who will stick with you through thick and thin, then start working on fostering or adopting Rexy. He was tense during handling, with fearful body language and he became fearful while playing tag. He was stiff and cannot be pushed out of the food bowl, but did not growl, snap or bite. Rexy was not interested in toys or rawhides and rushed in quickly during the dog-dog test, but showed no aggression. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessors hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, body stiff, mouth closed, ears back. Tag: 3. Dog repeatedly turns quickly away when touched.
