DON’T LIMIT GOD- The Christian Public Servant December 26, 2014 – Friday Reading Psalm 78:41 (AmKJV) Yes, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. Reflection About three months ago, the Holy Spirit instructed me to talk with a brother here on Life Row. He was to get in touch with his daughters because, for some reason, they needed him. Now, I did not feel comfortable doing this since he and I never talked about his kids. But I obeyed the Holy Spirit. I did not turn back. Well guess what? His daughters spent Christmas day with their mother and grandparents for the first time in 17 years! Just think if I had limited the Holy Spirit -- what kind of a Christmas would those girls have had? What kind of anger might they still hold toward family members? So I was blessed when that brother got off the phone and told me about the wonderful time his daughters were having! At work or anywhere, don’t limit God through your doubt or fear. Today, don’t limit God through your shame or even your disbelief. Don’t turn back because He wants to use you in ways you don’t know. There is someone sitting next to you at work right now. If called, don’t limit God. Prayer Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray. Thank You for continuing to show me my true value so I won’t limit You and hinder others from receiving the love of Jesus – the same love He gives to me. Amen.
