DR MATHIAS OFFOBOCHE AND THE NORTHERN SENATORIAL DISTRICT CONGRATULATION: Dr. Mathias offoboche is the political leader of the northern senatorial district and an elder statesman in cross river state. He was deputy governor from 1979- 1983 in cross river state under the administration of Dr. Clement Isong. Dr. Mathias offoboche is a medical doctor by profession and a specialist, obstetrician and gynecologist. He studied medicine in Dublin and did a postgraduate in the Royal College of physician London. Dr. Mathias offoboche is a politician with the title of the office of the Niger (OON). Dr. Mathias offoboche is a highly respected figure in the Northern senatorial who has used the wealth of his political experience to seek ways of ensuring a peaceful transfer of power to the northern senatorial district. Under his leadership as the political leader of the northern senatorial district there have been nothing like rancor and political animosity which opponents thought was going to disintegrate the political elites from the North. At a meeting chaired by him in calabar a couple of hours ago to discuss the way forward for the gubernatorial election in 2015. Unofficial sources have confirmed that the number of aspirants have been reduced to three by a common consensus agreement. May I use this opportunity to say thank you very much Dr Offoboche for the job well done.
