DRIFTING TOWARDS PRECIPICE... I refrained myself from being drawn into the chaos weve been plunged into in the last 96hrs, but as a PATRIOT I must have a position for posterity to judge me someday. When I and few of my friends kept highlighting the danger and envisaged outcome of both the PDP and the APC playing politics with the insurgency, we were accused of wild conjectures and intellectual elitism and haughtiness. The attack on Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is the new and volcanic phase of the insurgency. When the kitchen cabinet of Mr. President, the PDP, Lai Muhammed, Olisa Metuh, Doyin Okupe, the APC and the numerous vuvuzelas on social media kept trading blames, not forgetting the imbecilic rantings of Femi Fani Kayode and Sen.. Musiliu Obanikoro, they never for once knew they were laying a solid foundation for another phase of the insurgency. Now the insurgents that are hellbent on destroying the sovereignty of our dear country, the scenario is perfect. We have a President, or safe to say a Presidency that is perceived desperate and will resort to any trick in and out of the book to shove up its popularity and an opposition which is equally desperate and bereft of ideas and values. They both out of political recklessness, gross insensitivity, pythonic insincerity and so unpatriotic of them; trivialised our national security and played politics with it. This Im bold to say gave the insurgents an idea, a decoy, more like a cover for their activities. Now the attacks will be on key political figures from both the ruling party and opposition, and all those either affiliated or sympathetic to their cause. Targets will be from North and South. A ploy to plunge us into a civil war. The good thing about this bad thing is they are not safe as there is no hiding place for them....politics is in the air.... The race for 2015 is on..... I would have loved to give a list of potential targets but that will make this more than a thinking outside the box exercise. I see a trend where personalities will be attacked and most wont be as lucky as Gen. Buhari and the blame game will begin...the polity will be heated up..... It will now seem like it had been a political motivated insurgency all along... With that, the insurgents would have successfully set us up against each other.... We will be finishing up the job for them...... A note of warning to all the politically exposed persons... Scamper.... You brought this upon yourselves.. God help me.... God Bless Nigeria
