DRYWALLERS/CONTRACTORS!!! I built my house on Crown Terrace about 12 years ago. That was at the peak of the building explosion. I had nothing but issues with the fish are in no hurry in Curry attitudes of some of the contractors. Not all, but some. Recently, I contracted with a guy to redo the drywall on my home (that I just bought) as it had 1970s paneling on it. I pulled all the paneling off. All he had to do is tape the seams, sand or remove the glue and texture. He promised to show every day after his normal work so he would have money for Christmas. Out of the 5 weekdays, he showed one time - Tuesday - for 2 hours. And then he again promised he would be here all day Saturday and all day Sunday, starting at 8:30am. Do you think he, or his wife would call and say something came up? HELL NO! I need to know where to post this, as I am not sure Brookville is the place, but this kind of false commitment and dishonesty needs to stop. I thought maybe, just maybe 12 years later and the tight economy that it had stopped. NOPE. Or did I just get a dishonest person......???? He and his wife both seemed nice enough.
