DSD For your AWARENESS ## This morning a call came from Bkash agent to one of my friends mobile and said, i have sent you 5100TK to your number mistakenly , can you please return the money please. later on a call from same number came and were begging to send him back the money to him as he is a rikshawpuller as he sent the money to his son for eid but the agent sent him mistakenly. He was calling and calling to my friend and crying so that he can get his money back and gave him another number to send the money. My friend received a text from the BKash number as well saying he has received 5100TK and My friend beleived it and sent the money back. Then the rikshawpuller called him again saying thanks and sent him 400TK as he was happy to get his money back. But the agent sent him 4000TK instead of 400TK. Now the turn of agent , he called him and explained the matter that he put an extra 0 which made it 4000TK. My friend convinced again and sent the 4000TK again. Later on my friend was bit confused and checked his account and found the text he received from BKash agent was fake , no transaction in his account. Then he called helpline and found it was a fake call and fake text. He was seeking help from helpline but was told they cannot do anything but saying sorry. So this is a fraud case that faced by my one of my very close friend and a loss of total 9100TK. Friends, Please be aware of this type of call and verify and check your account before you send the money. Now My Questions are : 1. What type of life we are having in a so called democratic country? 2. Why the helpline people said they are helpless? (Though the confirmation text came from the BKash number ) 3. I asked him to report to police but he replied what would police do rather than harrasing him.So why we cannot rely on police when we are cheated by a group of people? 4. The most sad part of this incident is we even cannot ask help to any one. Because they will laugh at him and will blame him why didn you check/verify the number before you send the money. So where else would he go sekking help? Friends feeling helpless and hopeless when i have heard that. My friend is a victim. Be aware and dont do the same fault.
