DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL NORTH CENTRAL AREA COMMITTEE 20th February 2012 Q.83 Question in the name of Councillor Micheál MacDonncha “To ask the Area Manager if the City Council has carried out an inspection of the Kilbarrack Community Hall and if required works regarding health & safety have been carried out.” Reply: The above mentioned property was re-inspected by the Council’s City Architects Division on 7th February 2012. Most of the repairs have been completed to the satisfaction of the Council’s Architects Division. However there are still two leaks in the building and the Council’s Architects Division have made further recommendations which will be communicated to KADCA via their Solicitors. In respect of the replacement of the fascia cladding KADCA Solicitors have advised that a contractor has been engaged and they will notify us upon completion. Dublin City Council intend to write to KADCAs Solicitors informing them that the Council will re-inspect the premises again in one month to ensure that all works have been completed to our satisfaction.
