DUNGANNON & COOKSTOWN CAMERA CLUB start their new club season this Wednesday, 3rd September, with a welcome/registration meeting at the Gables Bar and Restaurant at 40 Cookstown Rd, Dungannon, County Tyrone BT71 4BQ. Meetings start at 7.30pm until 9.00pm. We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from September until the end of November, and then fortnightly from December onwards. We have organised our calendar this way to fully integrate new to photography members in particular into the club, and give them the help, support and mentorship, if necessary, to develop. There is also more than enough going on to interest the more experienced members too! We have an excellent programme for this season, which includes guest speakers, practical sessions and competitions. We also have monthly Saturday outings and a prospective overnight wildlife field trip to the Saltee Islands, Wexford, next June. The club has a wide age ranging and mixed cultural membership and we welcome new members to join us for another exciting season.
