DUPLICATE PRODUCTS OF SAMSUNG WORTH RS. 6 LAKH SEIZED New Delhi, October 18, 2013: Karol Bagh Police Station, DIU Central, along with Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) conducted enforcement actions at Hong Kong Plaza, Karol Bagh yesterday and seized duplicate products that were being stored and sold under the brand name of Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. During the raid, the EIPR representatives and the cops came across many duplicate mobile phones and counterfeit stickers that were being sold under the brand name of Samsung. The seized products were to the tune of Rs. 6 lakh. Avtar Singh – Owner of Shop No.6 & 8 and Diljeet Singh - Owner of Shop No.7 have been arrested and FIR has been lodged against the accused. The duplicate products were seized with the help of Mr. J K Sharma, ACP, Delhi and Mr. B. P. Sharma, Inspector of Police, Delhi.
