Dad actually got out the door today after his usual medicines eyedrops and meal. I took him downtown to do a certificate renewal he wanted at the Franklin County Sheriffs Office. We just made it within the appointment time block. I had to roll his wheelchair from the second story of a parking garage on State Street to the FCSO on South High Street. After that appointment, we traveled to the Ohio State Barber College where they shave him. First picture is of him seated in the barbers chair before the beard removal. It was thick since we dont get him out often and I was not able to budge that beard myself when I tried to use a six blade shaver on it. After our visit to the barber, he wanted to stop by the store so we did. He used to drive by himself but has not driven, has hardly moved around since September 2013. However he got in that store and rolled around and selected a few items. I recommended against selecting those glazed doughnuts {I personally would never buy that {expletive} } by telling him they could make him feel weaker or sick since he has historically had diabetes. Hes indifferent so so he got them anyway. This is his first actual in store visit in about a year, I think I had him inside around December 13 . Upon return home he asked for apple cider and a doughnut which I gave him.
