Dad has come through the surgery okay so PRAISE GOD! They didnt have to put him under but just used a local. The dr is trying everything he can do to save his foot. He shaved his heel down because it wasnt healing and he cleaned out the pus. He is leaving the wounds open to drain so they can monitor it closely. He cannot put any pressure on it for months so the downside is my Daddy is not coming home for a long time. And all of this depends on his circulation and how his foot heals. The good thing is his tendons and muscle and bone looked good so the dr didnt have to go as deep as he thought he would. But it still depends on how he heals. God is in control and I just pray he keeps us smiling and strong in the hard months ahead. Thank you for your prayers and keep them coming. ♥
