Dad is really starting to turn the corner. He is moving around a lot better and has started doing a lot of things for himself with minimal assistance. However, he will be going to a rehab facility near where he lives for approx. a week before he goes home. I think this is for the best and another 7 days will make all the difference. I am sadly and with some hesitation leaving tomorrow but I think he will be released and head to rehab tomorrow anyway. Not much else I can do here but I do wish I could see him through the next couple months. We talk daily so I guess that will increase to 2-3 times a day until Im satisfied he is pretty much back to normal. A small piece of him might be ready for me to go since Ive been such a slave driver making him do his breathing exercises to ensure pneumonia doesnt set in but he knows Im doing out of nothing but love. I hate to leave but I miss my babies terribly and cant wait to see their sweet faces and hug them.....for like a whole day!!!! Dad appreciates everyones prayers and continued prayers and everyone that has checked on him, come to see him, sent a kind text or Facebook message or even just said a silent prayer for him. There are no words for how grateful I am for each and every one of you! May God bless you and your loved ones always!!!
