Dad....just wanted you to know that this time of year of apples ...well it reminds me of you...sitting there , cutting slices of apples for the kids with your pocket knife. I can still see your smile as they would gather around waiting for Papa to give them a slice. The dogs and cats would be waiting to see what you were going to offer them.And Mom and I would stand at the top of the stairs to the kitchen and watch and I had so much love in my heart.
