Dad, you left too soon. I really find myself missing the old man today. I know he wouldnt have been much help with my weak trees but he was always a great sidewalk supervisor and willing to get in there and help me get it all messed up before we surrendered and called professionals. At least I inherited his strong work ethic. He would have been the first one down there this afternoon sitting on the tailgate of his old truck, barking out orders (like he knew what he was talking about) and irritating the living snot out of the tree removal people. Ill just have to irritate them all by myself :-)
