Daddy is excited he gets to see H ride his special bike at therapy tomorrow. So far he has only seen pictures and videos. I guess there is a upside to being home sick. I am trying to find the silver lining in having only one vehicle and eliminating the 500 trips around town to get everyone where they need to go! I am so excited to get an opportunity to travel with my family a few hours away this weekend for a great training seminar about children with special needs. They had stipends for families who qualified and we did so we are going to take advantage of it. I realize more and more everyday how special H is. The things he has taught me and the way he is motivated me is amazing. I find myself becoming more and more driven to help others that are in our same situation daily. For example today a sweet little boy at our school is non verbal he is just 2 years old so he has not been officially diagnosed but he also goes to therapy with H. I am with him today in his classroom and I was sitting with him encouraging him to sign to ask for more food. After a few minutes of trying he just sort of looks at me and signs "more" "Please"! I was floored and started cheering like a crazy woman! The kids had no idea but started clapping and cheering too. He just smiled and jumped up and down. Things like that make me even more motivated to help these children, teachers and parents. I have new goals in mind and its all because of H. He has really just opened up a whole new world for me!
