Dads final resting place, Lords Cricket ground Harris Gardens He wanted his ashes spread in 3 places 1) At sea - done Hayling Island near Portsmouth with family & all of your mates from the club 2) At Chelsea football club- sorry Pop they just would not let us do it (2 out of 3s not bad though) 3) Lords Cricket Ground - done last Saturday with all of your family and mates you went to sporting events with so that you can still take the piss out of the family in Australia when they loose against England (again). Good luck England retain the Ashes again Once again a few tears and happy memories then quite a few drinks at Lords then down the club. If anyone ever goes to Lords go around to the Harris Garden and pour half a glass of red wine over the 3rd rose bush on the Right hand side of the garden as you go through the gate and say cheers to John/JB/Beno/Pop/Gold top/Mr Chairman/Dad or what ever else you knew him as
