This is actually the first time that I will not be home this April 1. This day is always special, just like January 9, and April 20&26, and October 27, all above May 11. How mama repeatedly asked during phonecalls if I could ever go home on April 1st. Due to some school demands, I honestly said I really cant, and she wont really imagine how painful that would be for me, because I cant be home, for the first time, on my mothers birthday... Mama (as I am crying while making this message because deep inside my heart I really want to be there on your birthday) I am very happy & lucky to be your daughter. I dont just have a mother in you, I have a best friend, teacher, chef, lawyer, doctor, accountant, banker, and all the profession you are doing for all of us. Next to God, you and papa and kuyas are the best things that I have. If I will be given the chance to choose my own mother, I would never think twice of choosing you, not because you are perfect, but because you are a mother at its best. I just want to be like you when I become a mother. Our life isnt perfect, but because of love, kindness, respect and God, we have a best family. Happy happy happy happy birthday Mama!!!
