Daily Devotion Saturday, April 26th — Worship Jesus!... Read Matthew 28:8-9. Notice the women’s fear, joy, and obedience to the angel’s command. This fear is rooted in awe, wonder, and reverence. The joy recalls Jesus’ promise in John 16:20-22. And the obedience (the women are running to share the news) leads to a personal encounter with Jesus. Notice their response to the risen Lord. Do you fall at Jesus’ feet in worship, desiring him above all else? Read Philippians 2:10-11 and Revelation 5:11-14. Bow before Jesus and worship him today. He is worthy. Pray the Spirit will bless you with a heart of worship.
