Daily Inspirations 27.11.14 Song for today: ABIDE WITH ME ( Luke 24: 27-32 ) 1. Abide with me: fast falls the even tide; The darkness deepens: Lord with me abide! When other helpers fail, and comforts flee, Help the help- less, O abide with me! 2. Swift to its close ebbs our lifes little day; Earths joys grow dim, its glories pass away; Change and decay in all around I see; O Thou who changes not, abide with me. 3. I need Thy presence evry passing hour: What but Thy grace can foil the tempters powr? Who like Thyself my guide and stay can be? Thru cloud and sunshine, O abide with me. 4. I fear no foe with Thee at hand to bless; Ills have no weight, and tears no bitter- ness; Where deaths sting? where, grave, thy victory? I triump still, if Thou abide with me! 5. Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes; Since thru the gloom, and point me to the skies; Heavns morning breaks, and earths vain shadows flee; in life, in death, O Lord, abide with me. ** On our time of loneliness and disappointments we can ask the Lord to abide with us. Even in times of troubles and problems God will still abide with us. May God bless us again today.
