Daily News & Analysis (DNA) Bangalore has shut down. My - TopicsExpress

Daily News & Analysis (DNA) Bangalore has shut down. My association with the birth of this baby (I prefer to call it so) and its growth – for 5 years and 82 days that I worked for it – will undoubtedly leave lifelong memories to cherish. It was challenging as well as an enjoyable assignment to be part of the launch and competitive sustenance of the edition under the leadership of Vinay Kamat (our then RE) and Raghavan Jagannathan (then Executive Editor), which gave me and my colleagues the thrust to carry on with the initial momentum. Just as there is pain when anything that is held dear finally ends, the same is what I experience at the shutting down of this edition; more so with DNA Bangalore because it had much promise and potential to be a leader in the market; and even more so because we all considered it “our baby”. I hope all my colleagues in DNA Bangalore, right from its birth on December 14, 2008, and in the following years, with whom I had the privilege of working with, continue with the zest and vigor that won us battle after battle in the intense daily competition. Thank you, my dear ex-colleagues, for braving it through the rough and tumble, and the many anxious moments that we had been presented with when we sailed together. (Also with Anantha Subramanyam K Nishant Ratnakar A Veeramani, Hemant Gairola, Hemanth Kumar, D Vasudevan and many others)
