Jesus had not come to them 3. Sea arose because a great wind was blowing 4. Through all this they managed to row three or four miles 5. They saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat, thus they were afraid Action: How did the disciples reach the other side? Though the disciples were initially afraid 1. They heard and believed Jesus’ words that it was He who walked to them over the stormy sea 2. They willingly received Him into the boat Thus they immediately reached the land where they were going.
