Daily Update: Mom was discharged from Einstein Hospital this afternoon around 4 pm. The bowel study she was intended on getting did not happen due to the excessive amount of barium in her system and her doctors felt as though the bowel study was not her main focus. So the next step is for her to start chemo for the third time in order for her to remove the nodes on her bowels and be able to eat food and keep it down. On the bright side, she did not get sick for a whole day and slept 5 full hours last night which may not seem monumental but for her sleep anything over an hour these days is a major accomplishment. She is still very weak for her hemoglobin count is very low but she can still use all the prayers you have. Again, she cannot get healthy again all by herself so keep those prayers coming and thank you to everyone who responded to my previous update, you have no idea how much this means to me, my family, and especially my mother.
