Daily bread: WHERE IS MY TESTIMONY? Scripture: Proverbs 10:22 [KJV] 22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Loosely translated – blessings of the Lord brings/adds no sorrow to it. Reference: Genesis.26:13 [NIV] 13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. ……………………………………………………………………………. (This Word will be repeated several times for the glory of God) Good morning children of God! Mangwanani vana vaMwari! Hareruya vanhu vaMwari! Mwana wemuporofita ita Amen inosvota satan nemadhimoni ake! The majority of our followers of this anointed page and our congregants are concerned with the reason why they haven’t received their testimonies in as much as they have been delivered so many months back. Some were saying, they fasted while others said they live an upright life and the majority talking about working hard. I looked at their concerns with reference to God’s manual of creation, the bible. Eventually I came up with the following check-list as the basis for the answers to their questions. Please note that this check-list is not exhaustive as you shall notice in the subsequent paragraphs. If all your answers are YES to the following then you are in the BIG ORDER category: 1. Do you believe Jesus Christ is Lord and personal Saviour in your life? 2. Do you have an honest relationship with Jesus and fellowship with others on a regular basis? 3. Do you participate in the voice anointing on a regular basis? 4. Have you been delivered from evil spirits? 5. Have strongholds in your life been broken? 6. Do you work hard? 7. Do you honestly pay your tithe regularly? 8. Do you have an altar in your home or workplace and pray regularly? 9. Do you have time to read the bible on a daily basis and praise God in good and bad times? 10. Do you support the work of the ministry in material, effort or in kind? When I was compiling the above check-list I recalled a conversation that I had with my former class-mate some 5 years ago. His life had changed within a few months from college. Wealthy was the best word to describe him. When I asked him how he had managed to rise that fast and high (urikuzvigonawo sei?), he answered, “Yes, zvangu zvakabatana, hapana bvururu muupenyu hwangu. My friend, I work hard and it really pays to work hard. You see all those poor people, they do not want to work. So, if you want to be like me, work extra hard my friend, extra hard.” Then he banged his car door and left. Sometime last year I met him seated on the no-man’s-seat (akagara ‘paKadoma’ mukombi). My first obvious question to him was, ”What went wrong my friend?” And he answered, “Honestly I do not know. But what I know is that I now work double hard than those days yet I am sinking deeper in poverty.” Then I said, “But I remember your words last time my friend, you said you work hard and the poor are not working hard!” From the above conversation it really shows that hardworking on its own without God’s hand of blessing will yield no permanent riches. The bible says, you work in vain if the hand of God is not involved [Psalms.127:1-2]. The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich Riches are from the Lord, and should be acknowledged as such, and not attributed to the industry, diligence, effort, sagacity, and merit of men, but should be looked upon as achieved through the blessing of the Lord upon the labours of men. When they come this way they come as a blessing. It must be understood that we are being made rich in both spiritual and physical. and he addeth no sorrow with it; No sorrow goes along with the Lord’s blessing. Riches enjoyed through the blessing of God are not attended with that sorrow in getting, keeping, and losing them, as compared to the riches of wicked men unlawfully gotten. ( 1 Timothy 6:9 1 Timothy 6:10) ; A good man acquires wealth easily, without much thought about them, or expectation of them, ( Matthew 6:33 ) ; He enjoys them with great delight, pleasure, and cheerfulness, as well as share them generously with others, while the wicked man is full of anxiety, stress and distress. A good man’s riches are full of peace, joy, and comfort. Having presented the above biblical facts to you child of the Prophet (mwana wemuporofita), my next question is; With your own effort, are you able to maintain a cool head under the ‘heat and pressure’ of being a multi-millionaire? The answer is obviously NO! Because without the Lord’s hand of grace and intervention in your wealth, you toil for nothing. Pfuma yako inova moto wemashanga. This takes us back to your question, “Prophet, where is my testimony?” Am I talking to somebody here? God is preparing you to be able to handle million dollar contracts. You are being seasoned both physically and more spiritually to be able to handle large sums of money without skipping a heartbeat. Are you calm enough to handle millions of dollars, let alone billions? Will you sleep home after receiving the first contract payment? Will you acknowledge God as the one who has opened those flood gates of blessings and praise Him for that? Are you not going to brag about your riches and belittle the poor? Is pride cleared from your character? Are you able to be generous with your wealth? Will you not miss church services and forget your bible readings because of your ‘tight’ business schedule and endless errands? Hanzi, zvangu zvakaita saka kuchurch ndichadei? Are you not a miracle poacher or vulture who is simply waiting for your day and vanish in thin air? Are you not going to lose your morals and become an object of public indecency? When you get that powerful car, are you not going to drive it like a plane without wings? Will you maintain your love for your wife and children? Therefore, you are being seasoned to handle such wealth without stress so that you do not perish (Nokuti mari ikawanda usina Jesu, UNOFA!). Are you here? Even you my daughter, you are wondering why marriage is taking long. You are being prepared to receive and handle your marriage in a sustainable manner. Your character is being groomed to receive the in-laws and visitors with love. Through thick and thin can you maintain resilience for your marriage? The bad character is being pruned off (uri kukwanhurwa hunhu husina kumira zvakanaka). Uripanapa here iwewe? The one looking for the fruit of the womb could be going through some preparations to handle and cater for the baby. Can you handle big families without stress? Will you be able to maintain a clean and orderly home with a large family? Are you not going to absent yourself from church services because the family has become too big for you? The one who is sick of any disease could be in the process of being disciplined in terms of life interests. Where will your feet take you when you recover from that illness? Have your bad places of interest been removed from your mind? Will you not abscond church services when you become fit? Zvanzi, mangwana mangwana, church, church, aiwa zvanyanya, zvinoda kuita uchimbozorora. Wakanganwa chazuro nehope. Will you not go back to your old ways and worldly pleasures? Strongholds play an integral part in your downfall or lack of progress. Some are spiritual while others are character related. You are favoured to be in a Ministry that has deliverance. Deliverance deals with spiritual strongholds. However, character related strongholds require your effort through God’s word to break out of them. Above all, you are what you are for the glory of God. You have come down that low so that the world can understand the hand of God when He lifts you up. The neighbours, friends and relatives must talk first about your misery in order for God’s glory to be upheld when you move from grass to grace. Bhutsu yakabooka pasi vanotomboiwona votaura nezvayo. Rima rakavepo kuti chiedza chive nesimba. Mwari vanoda rumbidzo nokuti vanogara murumbidzo dzevana vavo. When grace comes your way, the world must not doubt God’s hand in your life. No one must say, it is by your effort, education, wisdom or hardworking but acknowledge the hand of God in control. When Jesus made the blind to see and the deaf to hear, it means the blind were such for the glorification of God’s power through their miraculous restorations, just as it is today in our Ministry where the demonstration of God’s power is upheld. Apart from all the above facts, the grace of God is very important. For it is not by power nor might but by His spirit (Zechariah.4:6). It is not by fasting. Fasting is good it is a way to build or strengthen your relationship with Jesus. But it is not a short-cut to your blessings. There you are the flock of Jesus, wait for your BIG ORDER with hope, faith and praise. Do not give up, your order is just around the corner. Do not be like one of my former teachers, he back-slid. When I asked him, why? He said, “It is water under the bridge. I tried all my effort but it never worked. I quit.” I asked again, now that you quit God, in which direction have you decided to take? He said, “I don’t know, but I quit.” I told him to come for deliverance and today as we speak his life is back on track. To God be the glory. Mbiri kunaJesu! Shout, “I receive my BIG ORDER! I receive my testimony! Zvangu zvidhafu-dhafu zvaita! I overtake to partake! In Jesus name!” Let there be light- the light that pushes away darkness. ……………………………………………………………….
